TSCPA ASSISTANCE TO MEMBERS

TSCPA: Here to "Serv" You

There's an exciting addition to the TSCPA Web site! You can now join a listserv in the Business and Industry, Practice Management or Tax Issues community. A listserv is an automated e-mail distribution system that allows members to discuss important topics relevant to the profession in a round-robin style. Members can customize their participation in this new resource. Comments can be e-mailed directly to you when posted or e-mailed in a daily or weekly digest.

To join a TSCPA listserv, go to the TSCPA Web site (www.tscpa.org), log in as a member, choose the Business and Industry, Practice Management or Tax Issues community, and select the listserv link from the options.

Member Benefits

Members can get deals and discounts from a variety of TSCPA partners, ranging from Airborne Express to The Technical Answer Group. Be sure you’re taking full advantage of all that’s available to you by frequently checking the TSCPA Web site. Go to the Members Only section of www.tscpa.org and click on “Member Benefits.”

MEMBERS' OPPORTUNITIES FOR ACTION

Bonus Airline Miles

The TSCPA CPA-PAC wants to place American Airlines AAdvantage Miles in your frequent flyer account to thank you for supporting its legislative efforts on behalf of CPAs. (Please note that these miles do not have an expiration date.)

The miles you earn depend on how much you contribute to CPA-PAC from May 1, 2003, through April 30, 2004. The breakdown is as follows:
$100-$249 - 250 miles
$250-$499 - 500 miles
$500-$999 – 1,000 miles
$1,000+ - 2,000 miles.

If you do not have an AAdvantage account, please go to www.aa.com to enroll. If you already have an AAdvantage account number, let us know that, too, so we can properly credit your account.

There's a way to earn additional miles as well: When you recruit a fellow CPA to contribute at least $100, you will receive 500 American Airlines AAdvantage miles. Contributions received after Oct. 10, 2003, the start date of this campaign, will be considered. For every additional member you recruit to contribute at least $100 during the campaign, you will receive an additional 250 miles.

Miles are awarded online and have no expiration date. Encourage your fellow CPAs to contribute online, click here, and to include your name on the pledge form. We'll credit your account with airline miles. Or, you can notify us directly of your recruitment. Once verification is made that a contribution of $100 or more has been made, we'll credit you with your airline miles.

The campaign will continue through April 30, 2004.

Member support is what makes TSCPA legislative efforts so successful!
