The speaker is Cynthia Camuel, JD, LL.M on the topic of "IRS Estate/Gift Tax and Fraud Issues." Ms. Camuel has been with the IRS for 30 years and she may be your only friend there. She received her LL.M (Master of Laws) in Taxation from SMU and is a licensed attorney in Texas.
You will gain knowledge of the IRS’enforcement in a time of reduced resources and what the responsibilities are of accountants, attorneys, bank trust officers, insurance agents, private practitioners and estate and financial planners. You will be updated on recent tax developments, a fraud case in estate and gift tax, and the pitfalls for taxpayers and their professional counselors.
The luncheon meeting cost is $18 for members with RSVPs by the deadline, and $23 for guests, walk-ins and member reservations after the RSVP date. Deadline for early reservations is Monday, April 26.
