TSCPA Chapter Tip Sheet
TSCPA Debuts New Affiliate Membership Category for Non-CPA Employees
At the Midyear Board of Directors Meeting in late January, TSCPA leaders approved creating a new membership category for non-CPA employees who work for or are supervised by a current TSCPA fellow member. The new non-CPA employee affiliate membership lets more people take advantage of TSCPA’s benefits, including accounting news and information, discounts on products and services, education and training, insurance, and more. Members of this new affiliate category must work on a substantially full-time basis and be sponsored by the TSCPA member who employs or supervises them.

Continue Enjoying Member Discounts and Services
Be sure you don’t miss a day of the discounts and services available to TSCPA members!  Annual dues are payable now. If you haven’t yet responded to the dues notice e-mailed in April, please do so right away. If you did not receive an invoice, please contact Rosa Castillo. (E-mail rcastillo@tscpa.net; phone 800-428-0272, ext. 260 or 972-687-8560.)
For details about the variety of benefits you get, go to the Benefits of Membership section of the TSCPA Web site.
A featured members-only benefit is access to targeted online communities for CPAs in a variety of fields, including business and industry as well as public practice, government and accounting education.

Your Secret is Safe
“I think I have a problem, but I’m afraid to talk about it. I don’t want people to see me as weak and unable to control my drinking, even though I had a scare last week when I drove home and don’t remember how I got there. Is there someone I can talk to without the world knowing about it?”
