Help a kid stay warm this winter! The annual coat drive has begun for some of the neediest children in the metroplex, ages 6 through teenager, sizes 6 through adult. These "gently worn" coats will be distributed at the Love for Kids, Inc. Christmas Party on December 10, 2011. Warm gloves, winter hats and scarves are also appreciated by these children.
Little effort is required: just decorate a box and take to your company, church or group. This is a good time since most of us are cleaning out our closets now and discarding those out-grown clothes. We began accepting coats October 3, and it is requested we receive them no later than November 30 to allow time to sort sizes.
