You Can Educate Consumers about IRS Registered Tax Preparer Program

AICPA has tools available to address the potential confusion in the marketplace created by the new IRS registered tax preparer program. The goal is to help consumers understand that CPAs are the most qualified tax preparers and offer so much more than a non-CPA tax preparer. Education and promotion are needed to overcome any misperceptions and differentiate CPAs from other tax preparers.
