Dallas CPA Society Golf Tournament To Be Played May 14, 2007
Join your colleagues and friends at the 6th annual Dallas CPA Society golf tournament to be played Monday, May 14, 2007, at Gentle Creek Golf Course in Prosper TX. Lots of fun, prizes, awards, good food and more await you. Prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive, straightest drive, worst dressed golfer, etc.

ROPO LUNCHEON May Free CPE - for Dallas CPA Society Members only
The ROPO Committee is planning the second annual Economist Luncheon for May 8, 2007. The speaker will be Mine Yücel who is a Vice President and Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Mine is past president of the United States Association of Energy Economics (USAEE), past president of the Dallas Economists Club, and member of the executive board of the International Association of Energy Economics. This is being jointly planned with the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA), and Robert Half is sponsoring the event. SPACE IS LIMITED FOR DALLAS CPA SOCIETY MEMBERS ONLY.

Dallas CPA Society Annual Awards & Changing of the Guard Dinner
The Dallas CPA Society Annual Awards and Changing of the Guard Dinner will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2007, at the Park City Club located at 5956 Sherry Lane #1700, Dallas TX 75225. The evening will begin at 5:30pm with a reception. Dinner and the program will begin at 6:00pm.

Byron Nelson Tickets on Sale!
Chapter members can take advantage of discount tickets to the EDS Byron Nelson Golf Classic by ordering now! The tournament will be played the week of April 26-29 at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Las Colinas. A limited number of tickets are available on a first-come, serve-serve basis. Your order is limited to four.
Two types of tickets are offered: $35 single day tickets which may be used for the day of your choice and $70 season badges that are good for the entire tournament. No refunds will be given.

"Just for Fun" Trip – August 10-12, 2007
Mark you calendar now to attend the “Just for Fun” trip hosted by Margie McClanahan August 10-12, 2007. The destination this year is the beautiful Tanglewood Resort at Lake Texoma! EDUCATION SURVEY
The Dallas CPA Society has been asked to participate in a free on-line survey to determine what is most important for all high school graduates to know and be able to do in order to become successful as tomorrow’s adults.
