Chairman's Message
 There are over 6,200 members of the Dallas CPA Society with 15 different committees working to provide quality services to each of those members. This is not an easy task because of the many different objectives, needs, logistics and time constraints of our members. Your involvement in a committee helps us deliver services that best meet your particular requirements of service. It is one of my goals this year to have at least 10 members on each committee in order to hear from you, our members. This month we want to let you know more about what Ken Horwitz and the CPE Committee is doing.

Dallas CPA Society Bowling Championship
Polish your ball, shine your shoes, and mark your calendar for Thursday, July 26, 2007! The Chapter will hold a bowling championship event at 300 Dallas (formerly AMF FunFest) in Addison. Prizes will be awarded for male and female champions. The July happy hour will also take place.
The championship will run from 6-9pm. 300 Dallas is located at 3805 Beltline Rd. Cost is $15 per person which includes shoes. Click here to register.

WELCOME HOME THE TROOPS
The Public Affairs Committee is sponsoring a "Welcome Home" for the troops, and we would like you and your family to take part. Each day anywhere from 100 to 120 troops arrive at DFW Airport on their way home for a two-week R&R. A small portion of these troops will meet their families here, but the majority will catch connecting flights home. As volunteers we will welcome these troops off their flight, thanking and encouraging them for their service.
