Important Parking Information for TSCPA and Dallas CPA Society Seminar Attendees
Please note that all seminar attendees are required to park on the top level of the parking garage which is designated guest parking. Guest parking in front of the building is not open to seminar participants.
Entrance to the 5th floor guest parking is located at the East end of the parking garage next to Benihana’s. Thank you for your compliance with the building rules.

 The Dallas CPA Society is pleased to announce the inaugural CFO of the Year Awards in association with the Dallas Business Journal, ACG Dallas/Fort Worth and FEI. Other sponsors include Weaver and Tidwell, Marsh, Robert Half, and ViewPoint Bank.

Congratulations David Colmenero!
David Colmenero was recognized at the recent TSCPA Annual Meeting for his activities with the TSCPA State Taxation Committee. He was instrumental in bringing TSCPA and the State Bar Association together to respond to changes in the new margin tax. His service to both groups yielded a quick response to the Comptroller’s office and was valuable to the overall efforts of the committee.

UTD – Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance

The Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance (IECG) at UT Dallas is presenting its Third Annual Research Symposium on August 22 and 23. The theme of this year’s Symposium is “Corporate Governance: Achievements and Challenges Ahead”. The symposium consists of two panel discussions on Friday with a reception following. The panels feature notable academicians and prominent practitioners. Saturday will be dedicated to the presentation of research papers. Lunch will be provided. Attend either or both days.
