CPE Day Draws Over 800!
On Friday, May 1st, the Dallas CPA Society, in association with the Center for Nonprofit Management, Financial Executives International and the State Bar of Texas, held its annual CPE Day at the Hilton Anatole hotel in Dallas. Participants received 8 hours CPE credit for the conference, which featured 33 sessions, and was offered for a nominal fee to members. Recognized speakers on topics from taxation to accounting to not-for-profit management were on hand to provide instruction and answer participants’ questions. Over 700 participants registered for the conference, and with the sponsors, guests and speakers, the luncheon drew a crowd of over 800 people. Wells Fargo’s private banking group was our title sponsor for the day....

Dallas CPA Society Golf Tournament

Join your colleagues and friends at the 8th annual Dallas CPA Society golf tournament to be played Monday, May 18, 2009, at Gentle Creek Golf Course in Prosper TX. Lots of fun, prizes, awards, good food and more await you. Prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive, straightest drive, worst dressed golfer, etc.

 Chapter members can take advantage of discount tickets to the 2009 HP Byron Nelson Championship by ordering now!
The tournament will be played May 21-24 at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Las Colinas. A limited number of tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your order is limited to four.
Two types of tickets are offered: $35 single day tickets which may be used for the day of your choice and $70 season badges that are good for the entire tournament. No refunds will be given.
