 Volunteers, Sponsors, Speakers and DCPAS Staff Make Member Appreciation Day a Success
I’m thrilled to report that this year’s Member Appreciation Day, our annual full day of live CPE benefiting members, was a great success this year. If you were not there on May 4th, please plan to attend next year’s event. Plans are already underway for hosting a conference of equal or even better value!
Fifteen companies purchased sponsorships, including our title sponsor, Bank of America / Merrill Lynch, and our luncheon sponsor, Jackson Walker, LLP. I had a chance to speak with almost all the sponsors in person that day, and each was favorably impressed with the event. A number were already expressing interest in sponsoring again next year. Some folks who missed this year’s sponsorship deadline also told me they were interested in sponsoring next year. In addition to our sponsors, nine more companies purchased advertising in the day’s program, helping further defray the cost of hosting such a top quality event...

Dallas CPA Society Golf Tournament
May 24
 The 9th annual DCPAS golf tournament will be played on Monday, May 24, 2010, at Gentle Creek Golf Club in Prosper, Texas. Join your colleagues and friends for lots of fun, prizes, awards, good food, and more. Prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive, straightest drive, worst dressed golfer, etc.
Registration begins at 10:00am, box lunch at 11:00am, shot gun start at 12Noon, and dinner at 5:00pm.
Individual entry is $75.00 for members. Non-member individual entry fee is $200.00 (unaccompanied by a member). Member team entry fee is $270.00. The tournament will be played May 20-23 at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Las Colinas. A limited number of tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your order is limited to four.
Two types of tickets are offered: $35 single day tickets which may be used for the day of your choice and $70 season badges that are good for the entire tournament. No refunds will be given.
